Merl R. Herringshaw, 80, of North Baltimore, passed away peacefully at 9:40 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Briar Hill Health Campus, North Baltimore.
Merl was born on December 13, 1932, in Wood County to the late Fred and Ethel (Cole) Herringshaw. He married Charlotte M. Baty on September 26, 1953 and she preceded him in death on September 2, 1955. He later married Carolyn S. Shetzer on November 13, 1956, in Angola, IN and she survives.
Merl is survived by his loving wife of 56 years; his children: Richard (Debra) Herringshaw of Marion, Cathy (Robert) Anderson of North Baltimore, Cheryl Mayo of Mt. Blanchard, Mary (James) Anderson of Findlay, Billie Myers of West Millgrove and Fred Herringshaw of North Baltimore; 24 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; his sisters: Shirley Brown of Bradenton, FL and Loretta (Richard) Campbell of Findlay.
