Robert M. Himburg, 58, of Bradner passed away Saturday October 20, 2012.
Robert was born in Perrysburg, Ohio to the late Melvin and Gertrude (LaFarree) Himburg.
Robert is survived by his fiancé Selina Rader, daughters: Skyler, Jaiden, Keiana Himburg of Bradner, and Heather, Audrey and Dawn Himburg of Defiance; sisters: Jeannine (Ken) Rogerson of Perrysburg, Nadine (Ron) Meyer of Fremont, Irene (Gary) Sonerant of Rossford, Elizabeth (Frank) Graham of Bradner and Janette Rucki of Luckey; brothers: Larry Himburg of Swanton and Richard Himburg of Bowling Green and a special friend, Randy Rader of Jerry City.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Jolene Przychondni and brothers: Melvin and Ronald Himburg.
Robert enjoyed hunting and cooking but his true love was spending time with his children.

Glada E. Pockett
Glada E. Pockett, 93, of Bowling Green, died Monday, October 22, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 18, 1919 in Wayne, Ohio, to Fred and Grace (Wenzel) Eschedor. She married Martin A. Pockett on February 20, 1943 and he preceded her in death on May 3, 1985.
Glada was employed for 17 years at Peter’s Stamping in Perrysburg and 13 years at Bowling Green State University.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and was known by many for her cookie baking.
Surviving are one daughter, Darlene (Howard) Miller of Toledo, two sons, Dale (Laura) of Columbus and Danny (Sandy) of Bowling Green. Also left to mourn her passings are six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren, who all knew her affectionately as “cookie Grandma.”
Glada was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Arvadel Hartman
Arvadel Hartman, 91, of Grand Rapids, OH, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Wood County Hospital.
Arvadel was born in Whitehouse, OH to the late Jacob and Mary Bauman. Besides her parents, Arvadel was also preceded in death by her husband Paul Delbert Hartman; daughter: Delores Heinze; brothers: Herbert, Chester, Glenn, Wilbur, Carlton, Norman; sister: Dorothy Yantiss.
Surviving Arvadel, is her daughter: Marcella “Sally” (Robin) Bitzinger; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Arvadel along with her husband owned and operated Paul’s Truck Stop from 1950-1957 and Self Service Laundry from 1960-1976. After her husband’s passing in 1976, Arvadel helped Ray and Nancy Wright by dispatching the ambulance, answering phones and also helped with their children.

Dr. Robert M. Guion
Dr. Robert M. Guion, 88, died at his home October 23, 2012, surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jennifer Guion White, and his grandson, Ethan Robert Lillard.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Guion, following a loving, 65-year marriage. They were among 22 couples honored by the Ohio Department of Aging in 2011 for their devotion to each other and their deep commitment to volunteering. Bob is also survived by five children: David Guion; Diana (Jim) White; Keith (Wendy) Guion; Pam (Tim) Lillard, and Judy (Eric) Utsler, and nine grandchildren: Erin (Jon Cascino) White; Matthew (Alicia Booker) Guion; Carrie (David) Kilpatrick-White; Heather (Josh Smith) Utsler-Smith; Cassie (Chase Greenlee) Guion; Jeffrey Guion, Ben Lillard, Emily (Greg Serpa) Utsler and Wesley Utsler.
Bob was an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist, and joined the faculty at Bowling Green State University in 1952. He was instrumental in building the Industrial/Organizational Psychology department at BGSU to national prominence. Bob served as chair of the Psychology Department from 1966 to 1971, and edited the Journal of Applied Psychology from 1983 to 1988.

Richard P. Drouard
Richard P. Drouard, “Dick De Plumber,” lifelong resident of Rossford, passed away suddenly on October 19, 2012 at the age of 69.
He was born to Richard A. and Kathryn E Drouard on November 17, 1942.
Richard made a career as a Plumber/Pipefitter at Dimech Services for well over 30 years and as Zoning Inspector for the city of Rossford for 10 years.
Richard is survived by his wife Roberta (Minnick) Drouard; sons Josh (Laura) Drouard and Michael Drouard; step-son Scott Bachman; sister Nancy Pease; brother-in-law Joseph (Darlene) Minnick; sister-in-law Deb Kaltenbach; grandchildren, Mathew and Michael Drouard and Hunter, Chase, and Elizabeth Bachman; and the Band of Troopers he’s lead for over 40 years.
Richard was preceded in death by both parents; wife, E. Linda Drouard; and son, Jeffery Drouard.
Richard was an avid Detroit Tiger fan and was always the life of the party. His garage was his castle and he loved nothing more than spending time there with friends engaged in “spirited” debates covering a myriad of topics.

James Charles Decker, 49, passed away Sept. 29, 2012 in San Diego, Calif.
He was born Sept. 18, 1963 to the late Robert Warren and Charlotte Sue Decker in Mansfield, Ohio.
Surviving Jim is his mother, Charlotte, of Arizona; sister, Linda (Matthew) Jacobs of Bowling Green; brother, Robert W. Decker Jr., of Napoleon; and five nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Jim graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1981 and lived in San Diego, Calif. for the last 20 years.
He enjoyed life, had many friends and loved to travel, especially to the Dominican Republic.

Jereld (Jerry) A. Cross, husband of the former Susan Hann of Bowling Green, died October 21, 2012, at his home in Chancellor, SD, under hospice care, from brain cancer.
He was born in Dell Rapids, SD, August 15, 1962, to Jesse James and Clarice (Ochocki) Cross and graduated from Westbrook, MN, high school in 1980.
After serving two years in the U. S. Navy, he began work in Minneapolis, MN, in photo processing, and later in the heating and cooling industry. He married Susan Elizabeth Hann July 21, 1984, and they have one son, Ian Levi Cross of Minneapolis.

William J. “Pops” Treen Sr., passed away on October 19, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic.
Born on May 1, 1944 to Freddie and Ethel Treen, he was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Jane Treen; parents, and brothers and sisters.
William is survived by his children, Chad Treen, Michael (Tracy) Treen, Rob Treen, and William (Lisa) Treen, Jr.; grandchildren, Sara, Jessica, Joshua, Kaetlyn, and Bradley; great-grandson, Tyler; brothers, Earl and Elbert Treen; and sister, Marlene Stinson.

Casey R. Kimble, age 18, of McComb, died Wednesday October 24, 2012 at 6 a.m. in Findlay.
He was born August 9, 1994 in Findlay to Timothy Kimble and Jeanne (Goshe) Kreh. His father is deceased. His mother survives with his step father Ken Kreh in McComb.
Also surviving are three brothers, Cody (Krysta) Kimble of Wayne, OH; Andrew (Deanna) Kimble of Arcadia, OH; Timothy (Angie) Kimble of Arcadia, OH; a sister, Ashley Moyer of McComb; and a step brother, Alex Kreh, and a step sister, Abigail Kreh, both of McComb. Casey’s grandparents are Donald and Rosie Kimble of Jerry City, OH; Patricia Goshe of Findlay, and Sharon Kreh of McComb; and great-grandmothers, Edith Kimble of Fostoria and Nida Doudt of McComb. Casey is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by not only his father, Timothy, but a sister, Angie Kimble, a grandfather Ivan Goshe, and a step grandfather Jerry Kreh.

Mae Frances Allgire, 89, of Bowling Green, OH passed away on October 25, 2012 at Blakely Care Center.
Mae was born in Jerry City, OH to the late Perry and Gertrude Holeman. Besides her parents, Mae was also preceded in death by her husband: Harold; daughters: Bertha and Donna; brothers: Floyd and Willis.
Surviving Mae, is her children: David, Robert, William, Alva, and Tommie; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters: Helen (William) Boice and Louise (John) Woessner.
Mae was a member of Eagles, Rebecca, VFW, and Grand Rapids Sportsmen Club. She was a farm wife and homemaker for many years. Mae worked briefly at the Weston Pizza Inn and Carl’s Place. She enjoyed dancing, listening to the bands at the Sportsmen Club, polka, and visiting friends. In her later years at Blakely Care Center, she enjoyed bowling, bingo and going for drives along the countryside.
