Cecil G. Grizzard entered into Heaven’s gate on Tuesday August 21, 2012, after a courageous battle of many years with full acknowledge that the Lord he loved would always be there to take care of him in all circumstances.
Cecil was born August 6, 1937 to the late Cecil and Henrietta Grizzard of Savannah, GA.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 56 years, Carol (Timmons) and son, Chuck, Bowling Green, daughter in love, Marcia and the apples of his eyes, his grandchildren Jack and Josie of Grand Rapids, OH. He is also survived by a loving family, Charles & Charotte Timmons of Westville, Gene & Nancy Timmons of West Deptford, nephew, Gary Timmons (Rachelle) nieces, Michelle & Drew Lori & Harry, Kaeleigh, Morghan, nephews, Frank, Brian, cousin, Brenda Franklin of Savannah, GA. Cecil graduated from Woodbury High School, class of 1955.
